                                         Storyline

Edith Cushing is running away from a childhood trauma. She is now torn between her childhood friend, Dr. Alan McMichael, and a mysterious stranger, Sir Thomas Sharpe. She marries Thomas and comes to live with him and his sister, Lady Lucille Sharpe.
